OOC

• No bickering between players when out of character. Well, not on the boards at least. PM it, if you must.
  
• Anything and everything is accepted here. Unless it is against Proboards terms of service.. So that probably rules out explicit pornography.. not sure on what else, I should probably go read it.
  
• One account per character! The editable username of the account must be the name of the character as well, please, so that we know who we are roleplaying with! If you are joining twins or such, then you will be able to join them with the same account, as they woudl often be together.
  
• No duplicates of characters! That means there will only be one Harry Potter, one Simba, one Sasuke Uchiha, one whatever. If the character you want is taken, then sorry.
  
• No own characters. No celebrities, either. All the characters must come from some sort of book, manga, film, TV programme - whatever. Just no OCs or celebrities.
  

IC

• All characters must be from some type of series, etc! I have already said this, but yeah. Proof of there existing such a character, especially if its from a little known about book or such, is needed. In the form of a wikipedia article, fan website bio, official website - Anything.
  
• Human and animal characters are allowed - As long as they all speak(applies to animals more than humans). English, preferably, but if you don't want them to(And they don't in whatever world they come from), then they don't have to..
  
• Please try to keep all personalities as close to canon as possible - without killing or seriously injuring everyone.
  
• And by as close to canon as possible, I mean as close to it as you can get whilst having them stuck in a large manor house with loads of other weirdos running around.
  
• All canon powers stay. Yes, that means that Superman can still fly, but Ugly Betty cannot. (She can't, can she? I didn't bother watching that programme)
  
• Destruction of the role plays surroundings can, and probably will, happen. Lets just say magical mute fairies come and fix everything when everyone is asleep.
  
• Twist is set in an alternate universe to wherever your character may be from. A type of universe which manifests itself a a house, and sucks people out of whatever wonderland they may currently reside, leaving them to reside happily in this merry little home.
  

POSTS

• There is a word minimum of 100-150 words on the role playing boards! Unless I am feeling kind, or the post was exceptional in some way, all posts under this limit will be deleted when I find them. This may be upped if the posts are to short.
  
• You can change the formatting of your post however you like, just be careful with any colour changes as the colour of the skin will change in the future. It's kind of annoying when you have to highlight a post to read it as it is in white text on a white background.
  
• Avatars and signatures are to be of the character you are playing, words, random scenery, anything. Just not someone else's character as that would get confusing. (meaning, if you play Kurama from Yuu Yuu Hakusho, your avatar & sig set may not have Alex from A Clockwork Orange as the main focus point.)
  
• Try to keep signatures a maximum of around 450px in width and 200px in height, just so the forums aren't stretched.
